About Clontarf Methodist Church
Clontarf Methodist Church was built in 1906. It has a cruciform plan, built of squared granite under a hipped slate roof. Notable features include stained-glass windows, crenellated parapets and window tracery.
History
Designed by W.M. Mitchell and Sons and built by the Collen Brothers, the church was constructed in 1906 on the site of an 1867 predecessor. It was dedicated in June 1907. The building stands at the junction of Clontarf Road and Saint Lawrence Road in Co. Dublin.
