About Clontarf St John The Baptist
Clontarf St John The Baptist was built between 1864 and 1866. It has a cruciform plan, built of rubble granite under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include a bell tower, stained-glass windows, an internal gallery and window tracery. The vestry was added in 1897.
