About Church of the Blessed Sacrament, Golden
Church of the Blessed Sacrament, Golden was built around 1815. It has a T-shaped plan with a five-bay nave and rendered walls. Notable features include stained-glass windows, a bellcote and a marble altar.
Notable features
The interior retains carved timber galleries in the transepts and at the west end of the nave, together with a partly exposed A-frame roof carrying carved timber detailing. Rendered surrounds also frame the Stations of the Cross.
