About Church of St Attracta
Church of St Attracta is a Catholic church at Kiltartan, Co. Galway, in the Gort/Beagh parish of the Diocese of Galway, Kilmacduagh and Kilfenora. The Saturday vigil Mass is at 7:30pm. A plaque records the building of the church in 1842, though foundations may date earlier. A donation from the O’Hara family of Raheen House helped begin construction. Fr Patrick Fallon, parish priest from 1828 to 1844, later became Bishop of Kilmacduagh and Kilfenora.
