About Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary

Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary was built between 1847 and 1855 in the Gothic Revival style. It has a cruciform plan with a five-bay nave, built of squared limestone under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include stained-glass windows, a bellcote and an internal gallery. It was designed by Patrick Byrne.
