About North Strand
North Strand was built between 1836 and 1840 in the Gothic Revival style. It has a seven-bay nave, built of squared limestone under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include stained glass including a rose window, a bellcote and an internal gallery. It was designed by Joseph Welland.
