About St. Martin's Church, Kilworth

St. Martin's Church, Kilworth was built around 1800. It has a cruciform plan with a two-bay nave and rendered walls under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include stained-glass windows, a bellcote and a marble altar.

Notable features

The interior retains timber galleries at the transepts and entrance end, supported on columns, together with a timber barrel-vaulted ceiling. The entrance boundary has dressed limestone piers with carved caps and cast-iron double gates.
