About Fermoy Presbyterian Church
Fermoy Presbyterian Church dates from 1839. It has a three-bay nave and rendered walls under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include a two-stage tower, stained-glass windows, crenellated parapets and pinnacles.
The building
The main pointed-arch doorway has a chamfered dressed-limestone block-and-start surround, carved limestone hood moulding and timber-battened double doors. The site boundary combines rubble-stone walls, cut-limestone coping and cast-iron railings, with an ornate gated entrance approached by cut-limestone steps.
