About Immaculate Conception, Araglin
Immaculate Conception, Araglin was built around 1860. It has a four-bay nave and rendered walls under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include stained-glass windows, a bellcote and buttressed walls.
The building
This freestanding gable-fronted church faces north-east and includes a single-bay chancel to the south-west. A porch is located on the south elevation, while a recent lean-to sacristy extension stands to the north-west. The structure features cut limestone buttresses, a bellcote, and alternating lancet windows with stained glass.
