About St Killogue, Kilnaspic
St Killogue, Kilnaspic dates from 1866 and is built in the Gothic Revival style. The church is built of sandstone under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include stained-glass windows.
History
The church supersedes an earlier Catholic chapel indicated on archival Ordnance Survey maps, representing a continuation of ecclesiastical presence in Kilnaspic. The current structure dates from 1866 and is situated on an elevated site with an attendant graveyard containing cut-stone markers dating from before 1840 to the present.
