About St. John the Baptist, Killeagh
St. John the Baptist, Killeagh was built around 1830. It has a cruciform plan, built of squared limestone under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include a bell tower, stained-glass windows, an internal gallery and window tracery.
Notable features
The interior has a timber ceiling, limestone piers and mosaic wall decoration. Outside are multifoil oculi above grouped lancets at the transepts and carved limestone surrounds to several pointed-arch openings.
