About St. Flannan’s Church – Ardcroney
St. Flannan’s Church – Ardcroney was built in 1838. It has a T-shaped plan, built of squared limestone under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include a two-stage bell tower, stained-glass windows and lancet windows.
History
A two-stage round bell tower with a conical slate roof was erected around 1975. A later sacristy occupies the south-east of the church, and the retained exterior fabric includes cast-iron rainwater goods alongside the slate roof.
