About Shrule St Catherine (Ballymahon)
Shrule St Catherine (Ballymahon) was built between 1800 and 1825. It has a cruciform plan with a three-bay nave, built of rubble limestone under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include a four-stage tower with a spire, crenellated parapets, pinnacles and window tracery.
