About Rynagh St Paul (Banagher)
Rynagh St Paul (Banagher) was built in 1829. It has a cruciform plan with a three-bay nave, built of squared limestone under a pitched tiled roof. Notable features include a two-stage tower with a spire, stained-glass windows, an internal gallery and pinnacles.
The building
The vestry and meeting room have Tudor-arched doorways with chamfered limestone surrounds and hood mouldings. Inside are timber box pews, a pulpit and stone memorial plaques; the graveyard boundary combines a random-coursed wall, limestone barrel coping stones and wrought-iron railings.
