About St. Mary
St. Mary was built around 1860. It has a T-shaped plan and rendered walls under a pitched tiled roof. Notable features include a three-stage tower with a spire, stained-glass windows, a marble altar and window tracery.
Notable features
The interior has queen-strut roof trusses beneath a panelled ceiling. Outside, the grounds include a grotto to the south and upright grave markers to the north-east, with the site enclosed by a pebbledashed wall.
