About Nohoval

The building
This Church of Ireland church was built c.1745 and remodelled c.1810. It comprises a three-bay nave, single-bay chancel, and two-stage bell tower to the west. The structure features rubble limestone walls with tooled limestone quoins and corbels. Pointed arch openings have tooled limestone surrounds, reflecting Gothic Revival styles associated with the Board of First Fruits. The church retains historic fabric including stained glass and quarry-glazed windows.
