About Carmelite Friary, Kinsale

Carmelite Friary, Kinsale was built around 1840 in the Gothic Revival style. It has a cruciform plan with a three-bay nave and rendered walls under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include stained-glass windows, an internal gallery and a marble altar.
