About Derrylane
Derrylane was built in 1833. It has a three-bay nave, built of rubble stone under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include stained-glass windows, a bellcote and pinnacles.
History
Derrylane is a Church of Ireland church designed by William Farrell as a chapel of ease in Killeshandra parish. It bears a remarkable similarity to the parish church in Killeshandra, which was built approximately 10 years later. The building retains its historic form and character, featuring a muted Gothic Revival expression with pointed arch openings.
