About Church of the Immaculate Conception, Shanagarry
Church of the Immaculate Conception, Shanagarry was built around 1820. It has a four-bay nave and rendered walls under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include stained-glass windows, a bellcote and an internal gallery.
The building
The west entrance is pointed-arched with a rendered surround and timber-battened door, while the porch has a second pointed doorway with a chamfered rendered surround. The sacristy contains square-headed openings with a replacement window and timber door.
