About St. Colman's Church, Cloyne
St. Colman's Church, Cloyne was built around 1815. It has a six-bay nave and rendered walls under a pitched artificial slate roof. Notable features include a three-stage tower, stained-glass windows, an internal gallery and crenellated parapets.
History
Reverend J. Scanlon built the church. The rear tower belongs to an early phase of the structure, indicating that the church developed in more than one construction phase.
