About Church of the Holy Cross, Glanworth
Church of the Holy Cross, Glanworth was built around 1945. It has a cruciform plan, built of sandstone under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include buttressed walls.
History
The church occupies the site of a former ball alley. It replaced an earlier church in Glanworth, and the earlier building subsequently came into use as a community centre.
