About Church of SS. Peter & Paul, Bruff
Church of SS. Peter & Paul, Bruff was completed in 1833 in the Gothic Revival style. It has a five-bay nave, built of squared limestone under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include a three-stage tower, stained-glass windows, an internal gallery and a marble altar.
The building
A porch projects on the south and the chancel lies to the north. The east side contains a sacristy with adjoining lean-to structures, while the chancel roof carries ridge cresting and the elevations include limestone buttresses.
