About Church of SS. Patrick & Brigid, Grange
Church of SS. Patrick & Brigid, Grange was built in 1837. It has a four-bay nave and rendered walls under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include stained-glass windows, an internal gallery and a marble altar.
The building
The church features a gable-fronted sacristy to the rear and a pitched slate roof with terracotta ridge crestings. Exterior details include a limestone pinnacle, wrought-iron cross finial, and an oculus with timber louvered vents at the gable apex. The site is enclosed by limestone piers and cast-iron gates, with a graveyard present.
