About Ballymodan St Peter (Bandon)
Ballymodan St Peter (Bandon) was built between 1847 and 1849. It has a cruciform plan with a five-bay nave, built of limestone under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include a four-stage bell tower, stained glass including a rose window, mosaic work and crenellated parapets. It was designed by Joseph Welland.
