About Brinny
Brinny was built in 1813. It has a three-bay nave and rendered walls under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include a four-stage tower, stained-glass windows, window tracery and buttressed walls.
Notable people
Cork architect Henry Hill designed the later tower. Its dressed stonework, cut-limestone stringcourses and projecting corbels distinguish it from the rendered nave, while carved finials rise above the tower and nave.
