The building

St Patrick's Church is a detached gable-fronted Roman Catholic church in the townland of Kilpatrick, built c.1840, comprising a three-bay nave and rear extension under a pitched tiled roof with sprocketed eaves, cast-iron rainwater goods, a rendered chimneystack, and a carved limestone cross finial. Pebbledashed walls rise from a smooth rendered plinth, featuring pointed-arched openings with timber Y-tracery windows, tooled stone sills, and hoodmouldings, alongside a pointed-arched door with a dressed stone surround and timber spoked fanlight. The interior contains timber pews, a balcony, and marble altar furniture.
