The building
St Mary's Church, Moylagh, Co. Tyrone, was built in 1834. It is a detached cruciform-plan structure with a sacristy to the south. The rendered walls feature limestone quoins, plaques, and an eaves course. A pitched slate roof is topped with ridge cresting and stone cross finials. Stained glass windows with carved timber tracery are set in pointed arch openings with limestone dressings and hood mouldings. The interior retains many original features and materials, including mosaics. The church is bounded by rubble stone walls, stone gate piers, and cast-iron gates enclosing the graveyard.
