About St. Mary's Church, Lisgriffin
St. Mary's Church, Lisgriffin dates from 1897. It has a single-cell plan with a six-bay nave and rendered walls under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include stained-glass windows, a bellcote and a marble altar.
Notable features
The interior has an exposed timber scissors-truss roof, oil-painted Stations of the Cross in timber surrounds and carved timber confessionals flanking the entrance. Priests' graves are recorded on the site, with a memorial cross standing across the road.
