About St. John the Baptist, Ballyclough
St. John the Baptist, Ballyclough dates from 1850. It has a seven-bay nave and rendered walls under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include stained glass including a rose window, a bellcote and a marble altar.
Notable features
The interior includes oil-painted Stations of the Cross in timber surrounds and decorative ceiling roses in painted plaster. A round limestone stoup survives inside the entrance, together with a half-glazed timber lobby screen fitted with brass hinges.
