About St. Joseph
St. Joseph was built between 1880 and 1889. It has a five-bay nave and rendered walls. Notable features include stained-glass windows and lancet windows.
The building
The building has replacement pitched artificial-slate roofs, including a gabled porch roof, with clay ridge tiles and wrought-iron cross finials. The porch gable has concrete coping on cavetto kneelers with a Celtic-cross finial, while cast-iron rainwater goods and downpipes remain.
