About Church of the Immaculate Conception, Curry
Church of the Immaculate Conception, Curry was built around 1870. It has a three-bay nave and rendered walls under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include stained-glass windows, a bellcote and an internal gallery. The church stands in its own graveyard.
History
Around 1970 a flat-roofed sacristy and a three-bay flat-roofed entrance porch were added. The external walls were rendered at the same time over what had originally been exposed stone, and the interior was given faceted panelled ceilings.
