About St. James’s, Two-Mile-Borris
St. James’s, Two-Mile-Borris was built around 1830. It has a cruciform plan with a three-bay nave and rendered walls under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include stained-glass windows, a bellcote and an internal gallery.
The building
The main entrance uses timber-battened doors with strap hinges in a four-centred arch, while the transept doorways have label mouldings. In the altered interior, a carved timber ogee-headed blind arcade survives at the altar area.
