About Borris (Littleton)
Borris (Littleton) was built in 1786. The church has rendered walls under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include a three-stage tower with a spire, stained-glass windows, pinnacles and window tracery.
The building
The Church of Ireland church is a representative example of Board of First Fruits Gothic Revival architecture. It features roughcast rendered walls with stepped buttresses and diagonal stepped buttresses topped with pinnacles at the front and east ends. The structure includes a three-bay entrance elevation with a central three-stage tower, spire, and projecting porch, alongside five-bay side elevations to the nave.
