About St. Finian
St. Finian was built in 1813. It has a single-cell plan with a three-bay nave and rendered walls under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include stained-glass windows, crenellated parapets and pinnacles.
The building
A gabled projecting apse occupies the east end, while an incorporated tower with flanking parapets stands at the west. The tower has a commemorative plaque and pointed openings with timber slats, and the surrounding graveyard contains markers dating from the 1830s onward together with yew trees.
