About St. Fachtna’s Church, Rosscarbery
St. Fachtna’s Church, Rosscarbery was built around 1820. It has a cruciform plan with a two-bay nave, built of rubble stone. Notable features include stained-glass windows, a bellcote and a marble altar.
Notable features
The chancel walls have extensive mosaic decoration, while the interior also contains a panelled plaster ceiling with heavy cornices, carved marble memorials, carved timber Stations of the Cross and an organ in the east transept.
