About St. Declan's Church, Ardmore
St. Declan's Church, Ardmore was built around 1830. It has a cruciform plan with a two-bay nave under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include stained-glass windows, an internal gallery and an open timber roof.
History
The interior was renovated following the Second Vatican Council of 1963–65. Surviving joinery in the internal porch and confessionals, while the exterior retains the building’s earlier form and character.
