The five-bay double-height building has a cruciform plan with single-bay transepts and a chancel, and a three-stage entrance tower with a crow-stepped parapet and elongated corner pinnacles on moulded corbels. A gateway dated c.1840 includes limestone ashlar piers with wrought iron double gates and flanking random rubble stone boundary walls.
