About St David, Mullinarrigle
St David, Mullinarrigle was built around 1875. It has a cruciform plan with a four-bay nave under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include a three-stage tower with a pyramidal spire and stained-glass windows.
The building
The church incorporates fabric from an earlier Catholic chapel dating to before 1840. It features a three-stage entrance tower with a limestone ashlar spire and ball finial. The structure includes slate hanging on the south wall and pointed-arch windows with stained glass. A detached outbuilding and a graveyard with cut-stone markers are also present on the corner site.
