About St. Brigid's Church, Killygarry

St. Brigid's Church, Killygarry was built in 1867. It has a five-bay nave, built of squared stone. Notable features include an internal gallery, carved Stations of the Cross and window tracery.

History

The church replaced a Penal-era chapel dating from the 1780s. It cost £1,300, was designed by William Hague and built by his father, contractor William Hague Senior; the east-west arrangement of the nave.
