About Cathedral of Saints Patrick and Felim, Cavan

Cathedral of Saints Patrick and Felim, Cavan was built between 1939 and 1942 in the neo-Classical style. It has a seven-bay nave, built of ashlar granite under a pitched copper roof. Notable features include a four-stage tower with an octagonal spire, stained-glass windows, carved Stations of the Cross and buttressed walls. It was designed by Ralph Byrne.
