About Saint James's Church, Charlestown
Saint James's Church, Charlestown was built between 1850 and 1860. It has a six-bay nave, built of squared limestone. Notable features include stained-glass windows, a bellcote and an internal gallery.
History
The sanctuary was reordered during renovation in 1974-75. The limestone walling was repointed in 1995, the interior was redecorated in 1997 and the church was reroofed in 2000.
