About Saint Patrick's Church, Glann
Saint Patrick's Church, Glann dates from 1824. It has a simple single-cell form under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include stained-glass windows, an internal gallery and mosaic work.
The building
The detached six-bay double-height single-cell structure features roughcast walls on a rendered chamfered plinth with quoins. It has a pitched slate roof with clay ridge tiles and lichen-covered concrete coping on kneelers with wrought iron finials. The west front includes a single-bay single-storey gabled projecting porch. Lancet window openings have drag edged cut-limestone sills and rendered surrounds framing storm glazing over fixed-pane fittings with stained glass margins.
