About Lettermacaward
Lettermacaward was built in 1788. It has a three-bay nave and rendered walls under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include stained-glass windows.
The building
The church stands within a graveyard enclosed by rubble-stone walls, partly topped with decorative cast-iron railings. A ruin of an earlier church survives on the site, while the main entrance uses square-plan piers and a wrought-iron gate.
