About St Conal’s Church, Kilclooney
St Conal’s Church, Kilclooney was built around 1860. It has a three-bay nave and rendered walls. Notable features include an internal gallery, a marble altar and window tracery.
History
The roof dates from about 1890 and a three-bay extension was added around 1995. Inside, exposed A-frame roof trusses and timber sheeting remain visible, with a timber-panelled balustrade supported on timber posts.
