About Kilmacrennan Presbyterian Church
Kilmacrennan Presbyterian Church dates from 1846. The church has rendered walls under a pitched artificial slate roof. Notable features include an internal gallery, pinnacles and buttressed walls. The church stands in its own graveyard.
History
The church replaced an earlier building on this site, continuing its religious significance on the outskirts of Kilmacrenan. A plaque above the entrance is inscribed 'Leiter [sic] Church/A.D. 1846', indicating the date of construction. The structure stands within its own graveyard, enclosed by a rendered boundary wall along the road.
