About St Columba’s, Termon
St Columba’s, Termon was built around 1903. It has a six-bay nave and rendered walls under a pitched artificial slate roof. Notable features include stained-glass windows, a marble altar and window tracery.
History
A gabled porch was added in 1943–44. The east end also has a later three-bay gabled sacristy and boiler house. Inside, the roof is carried on exposed timber queen-post trusses with a boarded ceiling, and the altar area includes a reredos with pointed-arch niches.
