The building
Built in 1817 by John Godley, this Church of Ireland church features a three-bay nave and a single-storey vestry. The structure is defined by a castellated three-stage tower with pinnacles and string courses, contrasting with the long nave. Decorative elements include tooled limestone surrounds, traceried timber sash windows, and a rendered pediment at the east end. The site is enclosed by a rendered wall with cast-iron gates and carved stone piers, surrounding a graveyard with markers from the early eighteenth century.
