About Drumkeen Presbyterian Church
Drumkeen Presbyterian Church was built in 1803. It has a simple single-cell form and rendered walls under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include stained-glass windows, an internal gallery and window tracery.
The building
The church features a five-bay front elevation and a recessed two-storey block to the north. Interior details include carved marble memorial plaques, nineteenth-century timber pews with trefoil ornament, and a carved timber pulpit with quatrefoil decoration. The gallery is supported by a single fluted cast-iron column and accessed via timber stairs from the vestibule.
