About Drogheda Presbyterian Church

Drogheda Presbyterian Church was built in 1827 in the Gothic Revival style. The church is built of ashlar limestone. Notable features include stained-glass windows, crenellated parapets and pinnacles. It was designed by Austin Nicholls.

Notable features

The west front has a four-centred-arched first-floor window with limestone Perpendicular tracery, a hood moulding and chamfered reveal. The pointed entrance is flanked by carved ogee-arched tracery panels, while separate basement doors are reached by lateral quadrant stairways.
