About Donagh (Carndonagh)
Donagh (Carndonagh) was built around 1769. The church has rendered walls under a pitched artificial slate roof. Notable features include stained-glass windows, a bellcote and window tracery.
Notable features
The church incorporates a reused fifteenth-century pointed-arched doorway, probably salvaged from an earlier ecclesiastical centre reputedly founded by St Patrick. The east gable features stained glass added in 1905 by Alfred Ernest Child, depicting the Resurrection and dedicated to Revd. Mungo Neville Thompson. A sundial dated 1835 is set into the south elevation.
